Under the hood, the 2015 M4 Convertible uses a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline-six engine producing 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (M-DCT) with launch control. Power is sent to the rear wheels, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.4 seconds with the automatic transmission.

The chassis is tuned for precision, with adaptive M suspension, lightweight aluminum components, and high-performance brakes.
